do you wear socks with vans slip-ons

Some people say it's wrong (socks with canvas shoes in general) other say it's needed because of hygiene.
So what you guys think? I just still undecided on this, hope you could enlighten me.

I never owned vans but yeah wear socks unless it's open-air footwear like sandals or flip flops.

just wear socks lol. Unless you're wearing the low top vans like the slip on's or something like that then just go ahead and wear no socks if you want

Ew, not wearing socks with shoes is gross.

i used to do no socks with vans back in high school. it felt really freeing wearing no socks, and i liked the clean look without them. feelsgoodman.png

shoes became sweaty over time. i stopped after that.

i did read somewhere that you can put babypowder, baking soda, or any other foot powder in order to combat the sweat.

If you are gonna wear socks with Vans make sure that you wear cargo shorts and white socks and pull those suckers halfway up your shins. And if you really want to score maximum douchebag points wear a Hawaiian shirt or white wifebeater vest with faded mustard stains on it.

Black socks with my navy Authentics. I think they look pretty stupid without any on. Slip-ons are about the only type of shoe that look fine without.

Socks are a must unless i'm super lazy and going out to do something that's going to take less than an hour.
Helps reduce the moisture and chafing.
& honestly, the shoes look fine with socks.

Well they are skating shoes...so If you are using them for skate boarding then yeah...its better without socks...cause you can feel the board more.

If you just wear them because you like the design...then please wear socks...actually wear socks anyways.

Haven't you heard of no show socks? Although they can get annoying since they slip off your heel too easily compared to ankle socks

With shoes like those, you usually have to wear socks with them or else they'll smell like rotten eggs.

I have some vans slip ons, i usually do wear socks with them but I can't seem to find any fucking socks so today I did wear em without.

It doesn't make the shoes smell so much as it makes your feet smell.

They had defected and been excommunicated

I owned a pair of Vans once, they were garbage and very uncomfortable. I threw them out and got a pair of Sketchers, haven't looked back since.

Of course, I do! Who doesn't? I love how it looks, it makes me look stylish and I love it. I have an Edema so my compression socks for edema is a part of my style and I am not ashamed of it one bit! I love how they make me look like a superstar.

uhm for hygiene's sake i wear any closed toe shoes with socks. but i usually go for
either incredibly nondescript kind of socks (low cut, black "secret socks" or whatever) or
something incredibly quirky and cute for socks - just depending on whether or not i want
to draw attention to them.
